Memoir Monday: Ren Faire

This weekend was a pretty average weekend for me having to work on Saturday. I worked all day Saturday and then had some fun in the sun on Sunday. My mom and I took my neice and Leo to the Renaissance Fair that comes to town twice a year. It is so much fun and I haven’t taken Leo to one before because it’s a lot of walking and a lot of people and I always like to keep him reigned in. Well this year I felt he could handle it. We went and we saw and we conquered. Ok….well maybe not but we had a lot of fun and Leo dressed like a pirate AND I bought him a sword but I didn’t get a picture of him in costume because he told me...in his own words…I hate pictures. So yeah. I got nothing. I wasn’t going to make him pose for a picture and risk the fit throwing that could have occurred just to get a picture. And we got home around 2 and he went down for a nap around 2:30 and didn’t wake up until almost 6. And that was only because I woke him up. I love my awesome napper! And there you have it. My weekend in a nutshell! I hope all your weekends were as lovely as mine!
