A little bit of food a little bit of weather a lot a bit crazy

randomtuesday

Step right up and see the random floating around today. It may be the craziest day in the week. Well at least in my world since I throw a little of this and a little of that and come up with Keely's Random Tuesday Thoughts. Let's do this...

How is it that I made a nice dinner of spaghetti, garlic bread, strawberries and peas but Leo throws a fit for a good 15 minutes refusing to eat the peas. And in essence losing privileges to the computer and having to go to bed an hour early. The kid eats boogers for gods sake. BOOGERS. But he won't suck down 2 measly peas? Needless to say the house is especially quiet this evening.

I had to work Monday. It wasn't that big of a deal. What annoyed me the most were the customers that were like...oh you had to work today? Oh man, how did you get stuck working today? And I really just wanted to say...Really? Are you trying to make me feel bad? This isn't a nice conversation to be having. It could have been a slippery slope but I kept it together!

I have to take Leo to the doctor next Monday for his 4-year checkup. I wonder if the doctor will mind if I throw in a few questions for me? We go see the same doctor so really no harm no foul right?

I went back to my exercise class this morning after taking a week off. Wow. Either she was pissed that I had taken the week off or she really stepped it up last week while I was gone because oh my gosh it was hard core. I was dripping in sweat when I left.

I made Leo eggs this morning for breakfast and I added some cheese in them because I was using some of them to make a breakfast burrito for myself. He took a bite and gave the bowl back to me and said they didn't taste good. The hubby steps in and puts salt and pepper on them (which I did when I was cooking them) and Leo takes a bite and tells me how delicious dad made them. Seriously?! Dad puts salt and pepper on them and he's the king of breakfast? I'll remember that when you're running out the door and dad grabs a pop-tart and I yell boo-yah...you wish you had unsalted and peppered eggs now huh? I'm so mature aren't I!

We had an extremely nice weathered weekend where we were even able to go to the zoo but then I woke up this morning and it was 24 degrees. How does that happen? I'm ready for spring/summer!

My little baby turns 4 on Thursday. I can't believe it. We're having a bowling party for a few friends and family members on Saturday. We're so excited! I'll post pictures after the weekend!

Ok. That's all the random I have! Happy Tuesday and see ya later.

OMG loved what you said about customers making you feel worse about working - why do people do that?

I used to work in a doctors office. We only closed for the major holidays--Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day and 4th of July. Any others there we were. I always got the comment--wow you guys are here--it's a holiday. Um, yeah, since you have an appointment, I guess we are here--how fun for all of us.

Here in MN it was 50 last week, then on Sunday and Monday we got a combined total of 17 inches of snow causing me to get my car lodged in 2 different snowbanks in one day. Mother Nature sucks.

Happy Birthday to Leo!
Pur some salt and pepper on the peas and see if he eats them - Dad's "Special" Recipe!

Happy Tuesday!

I suspect that your instructor stepped up her game AND the week off decreased your stamina...that's me trying to be all smart.
On another note, the bowling party sounds like fun. Beware of four year olds though and bowling balls...I'm just sayin'...balls can go flying.

Happy birthday, Leo!
Sprite is the same way with John's cooking. John likes to add spices, I like to stay toward the bland side and let her season it with ketchup. Sure, his way tastes better, but my way won't upset her stomach the way his usually ends up doing. :-)
