Hooray! It's Tuesday. This is also my 400th post! Woo hoo! Who would have thought that I would be doing this 399 times later!
Me and the hubby went on a Monday mid-day date. It was awesome! We went to Emperor's which is a fast-food(ish) hibachi place. We also hit up the Sports Authority where we got Leo's birthday present of 2 golf clubs and a golf bag. They're miniature sized for little kids. It is so freaking cute! And while there I got a new pair of tennis shoes. They are AWESOME! They are black with hot pink Nike signs on them. And they were on clearance. So I got a sweet pair of tennies for $55!
After we went there we hit up Target and got Elmos A to Zoo wii game so Leo could have a learning game for the Wii. I don't feel so bad when he plays video games if he's doing something smart!
While leaving one of the many places we left yesterday we were driving through the parking lot and saw someone getting ready to pull out into the intersection. And before they pulled out they opened their door and threw out a McDonalds cup. I was livid. I couldn't believe someone could be so horrible. I am not an avid "green" person but I do care about littering. I will even stop to pick up trash if I see it on the ground. I think it is ridiculous that most places have a trash can at the entrance of their buildings but people are so lazy that they throw trash on the ground. Ok...I'll get off my soapbox now!

I went to my workout class this morning and our instructor told us to get a Bosu ball. And I was pretty freaking nervous. So I kept my step out as well in case I couldn't get the hang of the ball. But you know something? I totally rocked it. I thought it was awesome. Ok...so most things are awesome in my book but I seriously enjoyed working out on it. I could even stay pretty stable balancing on one leg and doing the jumps like we were instructed. I was pretty proud of myself! It kind of makes me want to go get one! The hubby would probably kill me as I put it with my other weights and yoga mats and etc. etc. etc.! --Edited to add...I went to the Target website and those Bosu balls are $99. So yeah...won't be getting one of those anytime soon!--

My current exercise class ends next Friday the 11th. I want to take a spin class but the classes that are on Tuesday/Thursday morning when I am most available are Cycle Circuit classes which include spin and circuit training (ie: running) and I am not down with the running. So I think I am going to take a water aerobics class. And as much as I look forward to the class I have a feeling I will be the youngest in the class by at least 3 decades. The people in the locker room that I see coming from the pool in the morning are quite geriatric. So I hope that the class would give me as good of a workout as the older folks.
I was working on Leo's laundry tonight. He usually has 1 load per week. So I went to do the load for the week and he and the hubby went outside to play in the backyard. I look out there to see what the boys were up to and Leo comes running up to the door to show me his jeans. They are covered in mud. He apparently decided he needed to slide while playing baseball and got mud all over them. Oh well. What are you going to do? I'm just glad he can play outside!
Ok. That's all I got. Head over to Keely's to see what other random is out there.

As long as the instructor is a good one the hydro aerobics can be a great workout.
Weekday lunch dates are awesome.
Why does it always happen that someone gets mud on their jeans right after the last load goes in? :-)
I was doing some VERY late 6WS hopping and saw your blog.
I have a four year old and I totally agree about the game thing. We got him a Leapster Explorer for Christmas and he and I both LOVE it! We got the Mr. Pencil game and it taught him to write all his letters and numbers. WAY cool video game!
Also, the littering thing . . . Drives. Me. Nuts. Really? Is it SO hard to walk two extra feet and use the trash can!?
Anyway, Hope you're having a good week. :)
